if a laptop was left running with no user input, not computing how long would the components last?
which component would be the first to go
how much time before it would fial?
I have been led to believe that most components for desktops/laptops are designed with a five year life span in mind.
It depends on the quality of the componets as to which one will fail first. This could be down to the brand.
I suspect that the power supply is a likely candiate for failure above anything else.
