What wire to use to connect Plasma TV to RCA wireless headphone base?
I have a 50in Samsung flat-screen Plasma TV (http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-PN50B450-50-Inch-720p-Plasma/dp/accessories/B001UJK66I)
I have RCA Wireless Headphones (http://www.amazon.com/RCA-150C-WHP150C-Wireless-Headphones/dp/B00009W3CR/ref=tag_dpp_lp_edpp_ttl_ex)
The wire from the headphone base can go into laptop audio output, but there's no such slot in the TV. What wire shd I use?
The base unit of the WHP150C has a cable that is intended to plug into a headphone jack, like on your laptop, as you've noted. Unfortunately, large screen TVs generally do not have headphone jacks, so there's no practical way for you to directly connect the WHP150C to your TV.
But if you have a surround sound or theater amplifier with your system, you'll be okay. The amp has the headphone jack you need. Plug the base unit into that jack (you may need an adapter if the size doesn't match), turn the audio all the way down on your TV, switch your external speakers to off, and it will work fine.
