How do I test svetlana tubes for an amplifier?
I have Svetlana 6550 tubes, and I want to see if they work
Unless you have a tube tester that can apply full plate voltage to the tube, you won't be able to fully test them.
If you have a DMM, I suppose you could make sure that the filament isn't open and check for shorted grids, but that's about it.
